Thurgood Marshall Council on Social Justice (TMCSJ) is a public policy collaborative dedicated to establishing legislative and policy solutions to crucial issues of social and economic inequality impacting disenfranchised communities.

The mission, vision, and core values of the Thurgood Marshall Center on Social Justice are an embodiment of Justice Thurgood Marshall’s life and legacy of abolishing systemic vestiges of racial segregation, inequality, and inherent discrimination. Building upon a solid foundation of advancing the cause of civil rights, the Thurgood Marshall Center on Social Justice will utilize 21st century strategies to expose the systemic structures that reinforce inequality and undermine communities.

By enlightened dialogue, stimulating public debate, strategic communications, and efficacious non-partisan grassroots advocacy and collective action the Thurgood Marshall Council on Social Justice will leverage the rule of law to influence public opinion, and effect public policy that will address the most pressing social justice issues of our time.
